About Khalaftex

Since he was very young Mr. Abdul Kader Khalaf, worked in the textile industry, where he worked 10 years as an employee in factories before he was able in 1978 with a small budget to buy 4 machines for the production of curtain and  furniture cloth.
So, he made the first core of  KhalafTex company owned by the Syrian businessman Abdul Kader Khalaf who became the owner of 3 textile factories in Aleppo city and he is going to establish the 4th factory.

Mr. Abdul Kader Khalaf could in 1981 to expand the 1st factory which he established in year 1979 to accommodate additional 10 machines, so the total number of machines in the factory became 14 machines which produce 4000 meters of per day of  curtain and  furniture cloth, by the help of professionals, he developed the models of these textiles until they became comparable with international models with high quality, Khalaf Tex company was able to export all its products of textiles to Arab countries such Algeria, Libya, Saudi Arabia and other Arab gulf countries and also to European countries such as France, South Africa, Russia and Turkey.
The 2nd factory which is owned by KhalafTex company was established in 2001 and it’s specialized for the production of polyester yarns .Its production capacity is estimated by more than 15 tons/day. A part of the production from this factory is used within the company in manufacturing of curtain and  furniture textile and the rest goes to local and foreign markets. The 3rd factory which was established in 2005, produces the blended yarns and its  production capacity is up to  11 tons/day, also a part of its products is used to produce textiles within the company and the remaining is marketed  in local and foreign  markets.

Future projects of Khalaf Tex company
The decision made by the Syrian government to allow the private sector to invest in the field of manufacturing of cotton yarns and to cancel the requirement to export the entire production, has pushed Mr. Abdul Kader Khalaf to think in establishing a 4th factory for the production of cotton yarns especially that this material is largely sold all over the world.
Therefore the plan set by his company states the establishment of a factory with a production capacity of up to 16 tons/day of combed cotton yarns and the major part of it will be exported to Egypt, Turkey and Europe and the remaining part will be marketed in the local market and production is expected to start at the beginning of the first month of 2011.
